The Arkansas Recyclers Association (the “ARA”) was founded in 1989 by leaders in Arkansas’ recycling industry to advocate for recycling throughout the state.

The ARA offers two membership levels:


The Arkansas Recyclers Association has two levels of membership:
Active Members:
This level is for businesses and organizations actively engaged in buying, processing, brokering, selling, re-melting, or reusing recyclable materials, including but not limited to, metals, paper, fibers, plastic and glass.

Associate Members:
This level is for businesses, organizations, and individuals not included in the “Active Members” classification, but who still wish to support the ARA and recycling in Arkansas.

The ARA is improving the business climate for the state’s recyclers by utilizing public and private resources to lobby for state legislative and regulatory initiatives that will foster our industry.

Membership dues for “Active Members” are based on annual sales volumes for the most recent fiscal year. Please fill out the membership application and mail it with a check for payment to:
